Branding

My first love was art. Long before design systems and enterprise workflows, I drew, sculpted, and built everything I could imagine. That foundation still shapes my work today. Every brand, interface, and experience I create is grounded in strong art fundamentals: color theory, typography, Gestalt principles, the golden ratio, and the rule of three.

My Academic Art Journey

I began studying fine art at age 12 through weekend programs at Maryland Institute College of Art, where I focused on observational drawing, character development, and claymation.

In grade school, I discovered Photoshop and began experimenting with digital expression. Soon after, I got my first computer and started reverse-engineering websites to understand how interfaces were built. It was my first exposure to code.

After high school, I pursued a Fine Arts degree at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, refining my foundations in drawing and painting. I later transitioned into Graphic Design, strengthening my skills in digital composition and visual systems.

My academic path ultimately led me to Multimedia and Web Design at the Art Institute of Dallas, where I deepened my expertise in color theory, typography, UI design, coding, and photography—integrating art, structure, and technology into a cohesive design discipline.

I graduated with a degree in Multimedia and Web Design and received the Outstanding Portfolio Award.

Logo Design & Identity Systems

My logo process blends artistic intuition with disciplined systems design:

  1. Discover - define personality, values, and tone

  2. Research - understand landscape and differentiation

  3. Ideate - explore broadly, sketch relentlessly—my best ideas come later

  4. Strategize color - leverage psychology and symbolism

  5. Validate - gather focused feedback

  6. Refine - deliver a scalable, adaptable mark

The result is not just a logo—it’s a visual foundation.
